IMPORTANT- Please note per the UK National Trading Standards- your property cannot be marketed for rent until you provide us with the council tax band. If it is marketed without a council tax band there are huge penalties that you may incur. The developer/ your sales agent has this information. Please use the email template that we have prepared and email this to the developer/selling agent which outlines their obligations under this Act to provide you the council tax band.
If your property is a Freehold property, there is no head lease. If your property is a Leasehold, you will have a Head Lease. You can obtain the Head Lease from your solicitor, mortgage provider or download a copy on the Land Registry (www.landregistry.gov.uk) for a small fee.
You should have been emailed this from your solicitor when the property completed
